Article Abstract

Letter to the Editor

Sir: In as many as half of the patients who are finally diagnosed
with a carcinoma of the pancreas, symptoms of anxiety
precede the knowledge of the diagnosis. The link between pancreatic
carcinoma and depression is also well known. To
our knowledge, no case of manic-like symptoms as a unique
clinical manifestation of a pancreatic carcinoma has ever been
presented.
