Letter to the Editor

Sir: Bupropion is an atypical antidepressant labeled for depressionand smoking cessation. There is limited pharmacokineticinformation about bupropion in the perinatal period. Thepurposes of this study were (1) to provide additional estimates ofthe concentration of bupropion in breast milk relative to maternalserum levels in nursing women and (2) to estimate the residualconcentration of bupropion in nursing infants.
