Sir: Psychiatric disorders can co-occur with seizure disordersbut can also be secondary to structural lesions in thebrain. These lesions are directly responsible for both theepileptic focus and psychiatric symptoms. Psychoses associatedwith seizures are among those of major concern toboth psychiatrists and neurologists.1
