Article Abstract

Because this piece does not have an abstract, we have provided for your benefit the first 3 sentences of the full text.

The idea of a 336-page compilation of case studies thathelps the clinician explore and recognize the boundaries of aninteresting but ill-understood condition such as obsessivecompulsivedisorder (OCD) is a good one. This is especially sobecause the format is consistent with the direction in whichmedical education is heading, that of case- or problem-basedlearning. However, the book disappoints for a variety of reasons.
