Sir: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is an anxietydisorder characterized by repetitive thoughts and/or ritualisticbehaviors.¹ Approximately 2% to 3% of the general populationis diagnosed with OCD, with children more likely to be diagnosedthan adults.² People with OCD often experience diminishedfunctioning in school, work, or community contexts,particularly in relation to social relationships.
